How does Solar Work?

While the technology behind solar energy may seem complex, when broken down, it becomes easy to understand. Whenever the sun shines (and even in overcast weather) onto the QCells solar panels , they generate ‘DC’ (Direct Current) Electricity.

The energy produced is fed into the Fronius solar inverter that converts into ‘AC’ (Alternating Current) electricity. The AC electricity is then used to power your home. Excess energy produced is fed back into the power grid and you are credited on your energy bill.
